I was 11 & Adam Ant was my cultural creator. The interest in the artists, music & eclecticism that he encouraged in me at that time has remained with me for over 30 years. Through him, I was exposed to many cultural ideas & figures early on & grew confident with my open-mindedness.

There was also the manic accessorising, makeup & promotion of being fearless in your opinions, way of life & appearance. Throughout all the good & bad times, the bands & people who came & went from my life, there was always his influence, his legacy & the love of his music. For all these things, I owe him a great deal. & so it continues...

Put that way, a month of Ant quotes is the least I could do in the way of thanks.
